Busy Badgers Yr3
Year 3 have experienced every weather during their Busy Badger sessions, from a beautiful autumn day, pouring rain, icy cold and even a hail storm!! We have collected autumn leaves at the nature reserve, made boats, splashed in puddles, explored the ice, had 'Busy Badgers Bake Off' and finished our sessions with some crafts. Have a look at the slideshow below.

Jingle all the way!
Class 2 had a fantastic time at the Jingle Jog this morning at Rushcliffe Country Park. Even though there were a few muddy puddles the sun shone and Costock could be heard jingling all the way round the country park lake!

Multi-sports fun!
A group of children from Year 1 and 2 had a fantastic time at their recent multi-sports festival. The evening was filled with high energy activities like running, jumping, throwing, and catching. While everyone had their own favorite moments, crawling through the tunnels was especially popular! We also received many positive remarks about our kit, which was donated by Nottingham Forest.

Row, Row, Row ..
Row, Row, Row your boat. Well, it wasn’t quite a boat but we had great fun working on the rowing machines in the festival at Southwolds. It was strenuous work, but fantastic fun. Both Costock teams rose to the challenge and achieved new personal best times on the evening. Well done to everyone!

Jumping for joy!
We had a fantastic time at the Year 6 Dodgeball Festival at ELA. We used lots of energy and, although we didn’t win every game, we won more than we lost! The whole team agreed that we loved Dodgeball and despite being exhausted, we were jumping for joy!

Yr 4 Busy Badgers

We even had a go at building a shelter. Year 4s also enjoyed looking out for the signs of autumn and using the resources in the Busy Badgers area to create some art piece

Autumn 1 Sport
This half term has been packed with football activities! From the year 2 boys to the KS2 girls and boys teams, we've experienced it all. After the three tournaments, we also took a group of year 5/6 children to a football festival at East Leake Academy, where they engaged in many enjoyable skills and drills, and, as always, they represented Costock wonderfully! We ended the half term with two matches. First, the boys faced Lantern Lane in a league match, where we unfortuna
