Summer 1 marked the conclusion of our football matches for this school year. In recent weeks, we played 6 league games with both the boys' and girls' teams. Both teams ended on high notes, with the boys defeating Flintham 1-0, thanks to a goal by Harry. The girls delivered an outstanding defensive performance, holding a strong Gotham attack to a 0-0 draw with remarkable last-minute tackles and incredible saves. We couldn't be prouder of both teams for their efforts this year, and we eagerly anticipate what next year will bring.
This half term wasn't only about football; the year 6 students took part in a handball festival, and some of our year 3-4 students were invited to Rushcliffe Country Park to join an Outdoor and Adventures festival. As always, all the children represented the school wonderfully.
Our lunchtime sports clubs, which are always popular, have experienced an increase in attendance. Just last week, 18 of our class 1 students participated in their lunchtime football club.
