On Friday 7th March the English FA hosted an initiative across all primary schools to encourage girls to play football, whatever their ability, by hosting the "nation's biggest football session". Here at Costock, we played our part with a football session open to girls across the whole school at lunchtime. We were so proud and amazed by the number of girls who took part, and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves too! It was inspiring to hear some of the girls saying, "I am going to start coming to football club now, that was really fun". The future certainly looks bright!
We are also proud to announce that a few weeks ago, we were awarded with an "equal access schools" trophy presented by Barclays for all the equal opportunities we have given to all our children across all sporting events.
