Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools so that they can support their disadvantaged pupils and close the attainment gap between them and their peers.

PE Funding
In 2013, the Government announced new funding of £150 million for PE and sport; the funding is to be used to improve the quality and breadth of PE and sport provision.
Each primary school has been allocated a sum of money from this funding stream that they have to spend on PE. It is up to the school on how best to use this funding.
