A huge thanks!

We want to take this opportunity to thank the whole school community for supporting our transition of the school uniform from royal blue to navy and incorporating new logo - we have had many comments about how smart the new uniform looks.

As part of this transition, we developed a relationship with the charity ‘Great Minds Bright Futures’ to ensure the old school uniforms can still be put to good use. The charity works closely with a school in Malawi to ensure all children there are given the best support possible for their education.

Last week we were delighted to welcome the charity’s founder, Dave Armstrong, into our school. He talked to the children about the Chunzu school he supports and explained the positive impact that donating uniform and classroom resources will have on the children in Malawi. Our children certainly kept Dave on his toes with their eagerness to ask questions about why he decided to set up the charity and what school life is like for the children over there.

Dave was truly impressed by the amount of uniform and resources that had been donated. Our children were really excited and proud to be able to make a difference to the children in Malawi in their learning journey, and intend to keep in touch via letters.
