Here at Costock we follow the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds phonics scheme.

Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised is the fastest growing Department for Education-validated phonics programme, already supporting over 5,000 schools to teach every child to learn to read!  Our aim is to grow confident readers who enjoy Reading for Pleasure.

Over the summer we have invested in a school library and are almost ready to launch.  Thanks to your support at the summer book fair we were able to add to our stock of books for the library.  We will provide more information and pictures of our library as soon as it is fully operational.
