Thursday 6th March was World Book Day and the theme this year was "Read Your Way".
We had some amazing photos sent in of the children reading in 'their way' in their favourite place, and everyone came to school in comfies or PJs. During the day each class did various activities linked to reading before the whole school came together in the afternoon. Miss Benson led a discussion with the children about the joy and importance of reading. We discussed how some prefer to read books, some prefer comics, some prefer fiction while others prefer non-fiction.
The children all then enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies before going to find somewhere in school to enjoy some time reading with whoever they wished.
